Welcome to the first week of June! A little colder than you would expect! Hopefully, the weather will start warming up very soon.
Math - Students have been learning about elapsed time. They will be making their own timeline this week. They will focus on important events in their life and since it is Canada's 150th Birthday, they will also be choosing a few important Canadian Events. Students will also be looking at how to find the volume of a rectangular prism. I have attached a short youtube video.
Language - Students have completed their book review and really enjoyed using the Chatter Pix App to read their summary. We are continuing to read Kensuke's Kingdom. Students are recording important, sequential events in their Google Slide Presentation that parents can find in their child's Hapara Workspace. Ask your child to show you.
Do not forget about the Family Picnic/BBQ on Thursday, June 8th!
